Christmas is fast approaching and Santa Claus is busy meeting and greeting in shopping centres across the UK to find out what his elves will be making this year.
But while many kids can’t contain their excitement about visiting the old guy for a quick chin wag, it can be quite a terrifying experience for babies and toddlers who haven’t quite grasped the concept yet.
Suddenly, they’re thrust on to the lap of a strange man in a bright red suit and a fake beard so large his facial features can’t be identified – we would be pretty scared, too.
Although it’s not the most fun experience for your baby at the time, it does make a pretty cute photo that you can show all their mates when they’re older.
