1. Schedule your internet and cable service
One step that will help your house feel like a home is ensuring you are connected as quickly as possible. 2. Change your mailing address
This is an obvious one, but many people wait too late to check this off the list. It’s best to submit the forms to the United States Post Office a couple of weeks in advance. You can do this using a form available at the post office, or online.
3. Register your vehicles
If you move out of state, a trip to your new local DMV may be in order. For a local move, remember that residential parking permits are sometimes necessary.
