Honor 7X 32GB Red Limited Edition Variant Listed on Amazon for Rs. 12,999

Huawei sub-brand Honor’s budget smartphone, Honor 7X (Review), has received a new limited edition Red colour variant in India. The Honor 7X Red variant has been listed on Amazon India, but without any availability details; however, the product banner reveals two offers. The new colour variant was announced by the phone maker last month, and 20,000 units are slated to ship across all markets in which it will be released. Apart from India, the Honor 7X Red limited edition model will be released in the United States, Russia, and Western European markets such as United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

As we mentioned, the Honor 7X Red limited edition variant has been listed on Amazon.in at a price of Rs. 12,999, for what is believed to be the 32GB storage variant going by the price. There is currently no update on the availability, although users can click the “Notify Me” button to get notifications for the same. The Honor 7X was launched in India in December 2017 at a price of Rs. 12,999 for the 32GB variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 64GB variant.

Honor said previously it has partnered with headphone maker Monster to bundle 100 units of the co-branded Honor-Monster AM15 headphones with the Honor 7X Red Limited Edition. There is, however, no update on this offer in India.

According to the product page, buyers might be entitled to 90GB free data on Airtel, and 80 percent off on Kindle eBooks up to Rs. 300.

Honor 7X specifications

To recap, the Honor 7X runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android Nougat. It sports a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB inbuilt storage.

In the camera department, the Honor 7X features a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor, coupled with PDAF and an LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options on the Honor 7X include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. There is a 3340mAh battery under the hood.
