PSEB

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) declared the Senior Secondary School or Class 12 results at 11am on Saturday.

Around 2.8 lakh students appeared for the exam. The students can check the results at www.pseb.ac.in from 9am on May 14.

Amisha Arora from RS Model Senior secondary school topped the exam. Prabhjot Joshi from BCM Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana scored 98.22% and secured the 2nd rank.

All top three positions were bagged by girls in the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class-12 examinations. In the merit list, the maximum number of students were from Ludhiana.

The exams were delayed to the state assembly elections and were conducted from February 28 with the General English paper to March 24, 2017 with Sociology.

Last year, the pass percentage in Class 12 exam results was 76.77%. In all 3,18,453 students appeared in the examination and 2,44,487 students had passed. The pass percentage of girls was 84.03% while that of boys was 71.12%
